The Creator, the Word of God made audible in the person of Jesus Christ, originally sanctified a special time in which to devote to relationship with his creation. He made the seventh day holy just after creation and the seventh day ended the week of creation. This seventh day he declared as his sign, his seal which defines his dominion, his ownership and his revelation of being the creator. [See Exodus 20:8-11]
The book of Hebrews chapter 4, describes the concept of a “rest” in Christ, which is realized in baptism by water and by the Holy Spirit, and by living belief in Christ. Jesus gives rest of body, soul and mind as we believe in him and spend quality time with him each day, and especially on his Sabbath day of rest. Read full article…
